I did a double-take when I saw the thumbnail of this picture; I thought someone was taking pictures in my bedroom! My border collie usually sleeps on the other side of the bed and a little lower, but when I'm not there, I've seen some strange indentations (not to mention dog hair) in about the same configuration as in your photo. Airlie also has about the same scruffy look in the morning (OK, maybe I'm thinking of myself).
