Sparrow hawk...New name to me, but that is nature , Irene. Beautiful composition and well seen . Great winter mood with this bird hiding on the snow behind the brushes. VvV

I also have a love/hate relationship with the Sparrow Hawk. I know they have to eat and are beautiful birds but I also worry about the sparrows. Lucky for you to get two good shots! V

That's a new bird for me. I didn't know that Sparrows had a bird that put them in jeopardy. It looks aggressive. Good catch on your part.
