This gallery is for Keller Mae, a red double merle Australian Shepherd.
Keller Mae was adopted after the loss of Sophie Bear. Keller
is deaf due to bad pairing of genes in her parents. There are
many of these double merle dogs in rescue/adoption organizations
waiting for homes where people will take the time to know
they are totally trainable just like any other dog.
Keller was 2 1/2 year old at the time of her adoption and didn't
seem to have any training. With constancy in her life, she has
learned quickly and is very settled.
