The bamboo forest must go on for 1/2 mile. Sometimes on a worn path, sometimes on a boardwalk. With the wind blowing, the bamboo continually makes a clack clack sound, as if you are surrounded by restless horses on pavement. In the afternoon, the bamboo blocks out much of the light, making this an "interesting" trail on your return.
