9/3 林小如和我(雋雋)星期五晚上抵達巴爾地摩機場，世楠君載我們到College Park的阿圭家，小昆哥也從鄰近地方過來。五個人在阿圭的陽台論長道短，品茗觀星。Yuju and I arrived at Maltimore (BWI airport) on Friday night before Shitman drove us to Gwei's house in College Park, with Kuen coming from the neighboring area. These five people ate and drank and talked and studied celestial objects on the balcony (free, loud music provided by the neighbor).

9/4 四人的華盛頓特區市區之旅(阿圭別有大業圖謀)。上午以華盛頓紀念碑到林肯像之間為主，反射湖周圍為輔。遊客如織。下午到美術館(National Gallery of Art)，古代館主要看十九世紀中期之後，現代館看二十世紀的畫作；至於其它館藏，如雕刻及一些民族藝術的收藏就只好說抱歉了。晚上去一家韓國店唱歌-- 林小如在波士頓閉嗓自守，乃因當地民風未化，鮮少有同道中人。唱完已經九點半，我們竟再長途跋涉到DC市區的娛樂區尋歡。可惜事與願違，因為交通堵塞和停車費，我們只在街上繞一圈，看看滿街週末夜狂熱的人潮就打道回府了，回到世楠君海邊的家時竟也快兩點。We (except Gwei, who had other things on mind) went to DC. We were around Washington Memorial and Reflection Lake in the morning and National Gallery of Art in the afternoon. There were nice collections of art in 19th and 20th century. Time ran short so we just skipped other collections, such as sculpture or folk art (not forgetting to buy posters and souvenir). Night time was for karaoke. Yuju was eager to be noisy again after the pale, tranquil days in Boston. After 9pm we stepped out. Then we drove to George Town and hung around the crowded streets doing nothing, just because of the bad traffic and parking fee (stay longer, pay more)...back to Shitman's house by the sea at two o'clock
