We were going for one of our frequent strolls at La Jolla Cove. I was mostly paying attention to the sunset (really!), when my wife pointed out what at first she thought was "a kid" on the beach. Must have been desperate for modeling pictures? Needless to say, she quickly gathered quite an audience, especially as she continued just after sunset, and really called attention to herself with the flash of her point-and-shoot.

You can see more of the story unfold here.

Oh, right, the sunset. :-) It was ok. Just one of those sun-drops-into-the-ocean-and-disappears type sunsets. You can see it here and here. (Ok, is anyone looking at it?)

The moral of the story here is don't ever leave the camera at home...You just never know what will happen! Have you got any closer shots?
