screen shot, please view original

This was just a very quick and fun experiment. This is a screen shot of my 30 inch Apple Cinema display at work. The screen has 2560x1600 pixels. The shot was taken handheld at f/2.8! The only postprocessing was the raw conversion in C1LE with a small amount of default sharpening. I was rather surprised how clearly each pixel is outlined in the picture, at least in the center. Since the screen area didn't even take up the entire frame, the pixel density of the screen is getting close to the pixel density of the sensor that recorded its image. This might be a fun test target to play with a bit more with different f stops, different lenses, etc. Note that you need to view this image at "original" size, of course.
