I don't know why people feel the need to do this. There are signs asking them not to feed the squirrels and birds. This definitely is not good for them. I spoke to a Parks and Recreations Employee near the Children's Beach and he told me that the squirrel population is sky rocketing in that area and hinted that the city may do something about, i.e. a squirrel kill like in Balboa Park. Great shot though Wolfgang. :)
