Woodies in the Valley, presented by the Central Valley Woodie Club, held its fourth annual "Woodies in the Valley" all-woodies event on March 12-14, 2010. The event started Friday evening with a "cruise night" at the local A&W Restaurant (accompanied by some light rain). Saturday cleared beautifully, and the club's "show and shine" at Visalia's Redwood High School went off quite smoothly. Following the car show, we took off on a 60-mile cruise that took us through some of the most beautiful ag country around - with everything in bloom, green grass, blue sky, and great camaraderie. The cruise culminated at the fabulous Chevy collection of member Tom Meleo in Strathmore. Afterwards, some did dinner on their own, but many joined up at Amigo's for some great Mexican food and more visiting. Sunday morning officially ended the event with a great breakfast held at the home of Club VP Ernie Crotty and his wife Liss. Overall, it was a GREAT show. Thanks to all for participating!
