The State Theater at 719 Congess Avenue in Austin TX has been in continuous operation since 1935. Designed in the art deco mold it was popular since it opened. It originally served as a downtown movie house and currently operates as a live venue theater. It is also located next door to the Paramount Theater, found elsewhere in this gallery and is managed by the same theater company.
