The McNeil Store and Post Office

According to the clerk who was working n the store when I visited, the McNeil store and Post Office dates back to about 1860. The Austin White Limstone company was started about 1889. The town once boasted several community buildings including a hotel, and about 75 residences. The town was gradually swallowed up by the limestone company as it expanded operations.
