Albert Texas in the Texas Hill country now consists of not much more than these two buildings. The town is privately owned and the ice house and dance hall were recently built. I understand there is some serious "Boot Stompin" goin on in the dance hall. This is particularly true when a "Branding Night" is held. Local ranchers come in with their branding irons and burn their brand into the bar and tables in the dance hall.
