The town around this church was originally named Blum Hill. The citizens who settled here from Neudeck, Austria renamed the town High Hill. This church is the third one to be built on the site. The architecture is Gothic Revival. It is on the national registry of historic places.
I had visited this church several months ago when it was being restored by a former restorer for the Smithsonian Institute. It is clear from these images that he knew what he was doing.
