As far as I could tell, there were only a few public buildings in Hye,Texas. The post office and a feed store directly behind it, and a bourbon distillery as indicated by the sign on the side of the Post Office. But if you've got a Post Office, General Store and a bourbon distillery, what else do you need. Pure Texas if you ask me.
