I hadn't seen any signs of the kayakers by the time I got to Midnight Hole and figured they had gone by me on the section of creek not visible from the trail. By now the sun was over the trees and I knew there would be no hope of a picture at Mouse Creek Falls up the trail. Sure enough, I didn't even bother with the camera at Mouse Creek and started playing with different settings on the camcorder. Then to my surprise, here came some kayakers. I managed to shoot a little video, then followed them and others back down creek to Midnight Hole.
