I headed to Old Fort today to check the trail conditions to Catawba Falls. The falls has been on Pisgah Forest property, but access was restricted because of this small piece of private property where there had been 'No Trespassing' signs. That has been temporarily remedied and the public can now squeeze through a gap on the right side of that gate and access the trail behind that building.
