By this time, the fall color should be on the way out. This year's change has been unusual - a lot of areas are still pre-peak. I decided to head up to Harry's in Lake Toxaway this week end hoping for some peak color in the Jocassee Gorge area. On Friday, my route took me up to the Parkway, then down Hwy 215 and on to Lake Toxaway. This was shot on the south side of Hwy 276 from one of the overlooks.
