I know you were given permission by my Dad...I don`t want people to think no one is allowed to see the falls,but if someone got hurt and no one knew they were there...I hope people can understand our dilemma.It is a beautiful place,as is the rest of the area,we`d like to keep it that way.

As the oldest son of the landowner,I want to clear up something.If you want to visit Laurel Falls,permission is REQUIRED.We have cattle in the pastures around the road leading to the falls.For this reason the gate is closed.There is also a "No Trespassing" sign posted.Do not ignore it!Failure to ask AND receive permission could lead to your vehicle being towed at YOUR expense.This is due to the complete lack of respect due the property owners by some who visit.If you want to see the falls,ASK FIRST...If no one is at home,come back another time.
