The next day we took the Apache Trail from the campground down to Roosevelt Dam. The first part of the road is paved and there's some great scenery and hiking opportunities before you get to Fish Creek Hill. We pulled over for a few shots once the pavement turned to dirt and spent some time at the overlook just before Fish Creek Hill which is a treacherous section of the road.
