A short distance after crossing the bridge, we took a right on the Rocky Trail. This steep trail headed up to the Skyline Trail where we had read there were some nice views of Glade Creek gorge. Unfortunately, the fog set in as we gained elevation and we had no views at all once we reached the Skyline Trail. This trail would eventually head back down to some more cabins where we crossed another bridge over to Old Sewell Rd, then back to the van.
