Little did we know when we began this morning's hike, that it would be our last hike of the trip. We knew tomorrow was going to be a rainy day, but we got a text from the campground around noon saying a nor'easter was blowing in and we had to evacuate the campground by this evening. The hike we picked for this morning turned out to be an excellent choice for our last one. We would first head up the Parkman Mountain Trail to Parkman Mountain, then take the short trail to Bald Peak, then return to the truck via the Bald Peak Trail.
