Today was planned as a supply restocking day, but we wanted to get a hike in before the crowds got too bad. We picked Day Mountain since we didn't think it would be one of the more popular destinations on a Saturday. A carriage road leads to the top of the mountain, but we started on the Day Mountain Trail which climbed though the woods, crossing the carriage road a couple of times along the way. Once we got near the top, we took the road the rest of the way up.
