Today we wanted to see if there was any lingering fall color, so we headed to Jones Gap State Park in South Carolina. Even if there wasn't any color left, the hike along the Middle Saluda River to Jones Gap Falls is nice. We spotted a little leftover color along the way, but not much - unless you count the orangey browns of the fallen leaves. This view of the river is right at the beginning of the trail.
