Last night was wicked. We knew a front was coming through, but had no idea how bad it would be. It rained really hard - several times troughout the night - and a ranger came by around 9pm or so saying there was a tornado and other nasty things warning out until midnight. Good luck. Some of our stuff in the tent did get wet, so we skipped going out on the loop this morning to dry things up a bit. We also headed into Townsend to check messages - there's no cell service in Cades Cove - get gas, and grab a bite to eat. We didn't get out to shoot until after noon and started by taking the Anthony Creek Trail up Anthony Creek.
