I got a new camera last week and was out in the yard experimenting with shooting the stars. I'll eventually get up to the Parkway to do more of this.

Thanks you guys. I haven't upgraded since early 2006, so I was due :) Got a couple of nice lenses to go with it too. I have a lot of learning to do before we head to Cades Cove the last week of the month. Cindy just got the new Nikon D7000, so we're both looking forward to the trip.

16.2 meg SLR, HD video, geo tagging, quiet an upgrade there Rich. Congratulations. We've come a long way from the 3.3 Sonys. I'm eager to follow your adventures through it's lens. Always impressive.
