Today's trip was up to the Lake Toxaway area to show Cindy a few of the waterfalls. We didn't see the need to get an early start since we were out late last night. The plan was to visit the Horsepasture River waterfalls, then a few more in the area depending on time, then maybe a sunset. The forecast called for a 50% chance of showers and sure enough we were under some of that 50% when we got to Lake Toxaway. So instead of turning into Gorges State Park for the Horsepasture, we continued south on 281 and pulled in to see Whitewater Falls. The rain began to let up as we headed up to the waterfall and quit once we got up there. I really thought there would be more water in the falls than this.
