The forest roads are in terrible shape since they don't get plowed, so I figured I would be safest heading to Cedar Rock Falls. The road to the fish hatchery where the trail head is wasn't plowed either, but there had been enough melting to make it passable. The trail still had 3-6" of wet snow on it making the hike more of a trudge.
