My sister Jan and I had planned another hike for today. I had thought about the Graveyard Fields area, but when I saw the lack of color up there yesterday, I changed the plan to begin at the Horsepasture River where my passion for waterfalls began in the late 90's. I didn't tell her the exact plan as I wanted it to be more of a surprise. And I do believe she was pleasantly surprised when we came up to the overview area for Rainbow Falls.
