Park officials kept the name Paw Paw Falls for the last waterfall in the series. That log hanging across the falls is fairly big and won't be going anywhere soon - unless Steve and the gang cut it out when the new trail is put in. Instead of retracing our steps back up the creek to the road, we headed back up the draw that heads SW from the creek. I had marked a point with the GPS just after we passed Jule Chappell Place on the way down, then did a GOTO back to that point. I also had a the Thomas Guide topo map and compass as back up in case the GPS failed for some reason.
