waterfall on Gage Creek 1

Bernie also found this nice little falls on Gage Creek in the same area. The creek runs between Charley Ridge and Gage Ridge. On the map you'll see where Charley Creek Rd crosses Gage Creek appr. 6 miles from Hwy 215. There's an unmarked forest road that turns to the right with fairly new oversized gravel. I'm not sure about taking a passenger vehicle down this road, but you might be OK. We drove about a mile and parked right before the road crosses through the creek. Head up the older road blocked by boulders for a short distance and look for a place to cross the creek to a faint trail (old road) up the left side of Gage Creek. Follow it for 15-20 minutes and look for a newly cut trail to the right that heads towards the base of the waterfall. You can't see the falls from the trail, but you should be able to hear it.
