Bernie and Harry came up with the name Horseshoe Falls partly because of the way the rock wall curves around and partly because it's near Horseshoe Rock. You'll know you are at the right parking area if you see an old logging road heading into the woods. Hike it for about 15 minutes to an intersection. Turn right and continue on the old road for another 15-20 minutes until you come to the tributary the waterfall is on. Cross and head up the right side for a short distance to the falls.
