I'm not even going to try to pretend that I have any skills photographing birds. I began birding in late 2010 when Cindy and I visited different wildlife areas in Florida. We've also set up bird feeders and bird baths at our home in the mountains of North Carolina and are making our property a bird friendly habitat. This gallery is a way of keeping track of the birds I've been able to shoot, either while out and about or through the windows of our home. Most were shot in the southeast, but there are also a few mixed in from my travels to other parts of the country. If you think I have the wrong ID on an image, please feel free to let me know :)
