Botany Bay Plantation WMA, near Edisto Beach 6/6/2010

Botany Bay, the 4,630-acre plantation on Edisto Island now is managed by the S.C. Department of Natural Resources and is open to the public.

Open: Daylight hours -- one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset

Where: Off S.C. 174 on the way to Edisto Beach; turn left on Botany Bay Road
