I like the low key effect and the background blue colour!

Jenene, great interpretation of joy and celebration. That's what I'd love to convey. Thank you!

Shirley, Phil directed me to one of your images when commenting on one of mine. I'm just enchanted by this. It speaks of joy and celebration of life itself. Because of your abstraction, I don't care that the image is not human and would not have known if I hadn't read your comments. Congratulations.

You abstracted the image so well through underexposure, backlighting and framing that I did not know it was a fountain. A trick? Not really. We will see what we want to see in a photograph.

Phil, thanks. It's actually not reaining at all, but a fountain playing the trick.

Spectacular frame, stoppage of time, and abstraction through exposure all add up to a fascinating question. Is it raining? I really enjoyed this image, Shirley. You put my imagination into high gear with it. And that, my friend, is what expression is all about.

That's a better framing than the first one in the gallery. Use some more of this style.
