When the seeds arrive usually in the late fall they are placed in an aquarium heated to between 85-90 F. These are seeds of Victoria longwood. They will start to sprout in a few days. I don't need to nick these seeds. At this point the seeds are placed in small pots filled with clay garden soil covered by a layer of sand. The seeds are barely covered by more sand.
