Some of you have been sending me messages asking where I am and if I'm ok. Well, the answer is YES.
This week has been very busy with fun & excitement, accompanied by much sadness.

Firstly, I must honour an 18 year old cadet musician from the area that lost his life last Monday.
He was to be participating in the festival this past weekend.
His name is Patrick.
I've had the pleasure of listening to him play at various music clinics/workshops over the past 2 years.
I remember him most for the big sound he could get out of his instruments.

This is a photo I took of him at the 2006 Xmas/Toy Parade in Ottawa.
Our band won 1st place.

Je peu comprendre le sentiment. Lors de mon deuxième cadet-cadre à l'EMCRE un des Cadets Cadre est mort en plongé sous-marine lors du congé de mi-camps. L'atmosphère fut irréel pendant une longue période. Malheureusement nous devons continuer et tenté de trouvé les plaisirs de la vie et savoir en profiter même s'il semble difficile d'en faire ainsi tout en conservant de bonne pensées pour ceux qui nous ont quités. J'ai toujours eu un moment de receuillement le jours du souvenir pour mon amis qui nous à quitter, car cette journée à pris une toute nouvelle signification pour mois. J'inviterai ton corps de cadets d'en faire ainsi (même si les deux ne sont pas forcément relier enssemble. Sébastien Trudeau-Dion ancien adjudent-maître du CC2698 de ST-Bernad de lAcolle
