Built in 1945, Hallgrimskirkja (Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland) is a Protestant Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 74.5 meters tall, it is the largest church in Iceland. Architect Guðjón Samúelsson's design resembles the volcanic rock columns like those found at the Svartifoss or on the Reynisfjöru beach.
