Since 1748, the coats of arms of Seraphim Knights have hung on the walls of the church. The Royal Order of the Seraphim is the highest Royal Swedish Order. When a Knight of the Seraphim dies, the date of death is added to the coat of arms before being taken to the Riddarholm Church.
