Completed in 1667, the Bonde Palace was the home of Gustav Bonde who was the Treasurer of Sweden, overseeing the finance of the Empire. After 60 years, the city of Stockholm purchased the property and converted into a town hall, which was in use until 1915. In 1948, the Swedish State acquired the building to house the Supreme Court.
