Located in the city center, Oslo Cathedral is a church for the Norwegian nation and for the city of Oslo. It was first consecrated in 1697 and in 1950 it was restored back to its original baroque interior. The beautiful ceiling decorations are the work of Norwegian painter Hugo Lous Mohr (1889–1970).
