Opened in 2001 for the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize, the Nobel Prize Museum is in the former Stock Exchange Building in Gamla Stan. The Nobel Prize Museum showcases information about the Nobel Prize and Nobel laureates, as well as information about the founder of the prize, Alfred Nobel. The tower of Storkyrkan (or Stockholm Cathedral) can be seen in the background on the far left.
