Naruto whirlpools are tidal whirlpools in the Naruto Strait at the northeastern corner of Shikoku. The Naruto Strait, only 1.3 km (0.81 miles) wide, connects the Pacific Ocean with the Seto Inland Sea. This photo was taken from WONDER NARUTO, a sightseeing boat from Oge Island.
