Illuminated by vibrant blue light, the inner facade of the Corte Ducale (Ducal Court) inside Castello Sforzesco casts luminous orange-hued reflections across the long rectangular pool in the courtyard. Originally built in the 15th century under Francesco Sforza and decorated during the Renaissance, the court served as the private residential quarters for the Dukes of Milan. The Gothic-style pointed arch windows with elaborate terracotta surrounds contrast striking night illumination with medieval brick craftsmanship, creating a vivid juxtaposition between historic architecture and temporary light installations.
