Funny how we see different aspects in scenes. Myself, the first thing I notice in this sketch from exactly seventy-eight years ago are the ellipses. They make me remember Dad talking to me about the importance of perspective when presenting images. I am truly grateful to have these drawings. They tell stories as if he did so with printed words. They give clues as to the nature of the mind of Walt Waggoner. I have been researching family history for over thirty years, and wish I had such insights into the rest of my ancestors. Feeling blessed today.
