"Future" the identical twin to "Memory" guards the courtyard. Future faces west and shrouds her eyes with her wings to symbolize facing away from the horrible war, but not being able to foretell what will happen next. Like her twin, Memory, she has stood in place since the Liberty Memorial opened in 1926.
