- Beth amid the old stones -

In the weeks immediately following the termination of her experiment, Beth found renewed energy
and keen focus on her studies at the School of Design. That timing was fortunate as the
end of term was fast approaching and her aunt and uncle would return from Spain
in less than six weeks. In the time after completing the current homework and project assignments,
she threw herself headlong into the task of producing the set of architectural renderings
of 106 Angel Street that she had promised to her aunt and uncle. Little could she know
that this artistic project would play a pivotal role in the events that transpired
over the next two months.
