Im looking for information on my fathers side . Johann Harig came from Germany alsas Lorrance are in the 1800 .also looking for any Family from that area would like one day visited there

can you tell me about the top picture? i own a copy of it. is the Lizzy that Edward was writing to his mother or his sister? Edward was my great-grandfather, with the baby in the pic (Jake/Jacob), my grandfather Rollman. i have a rocking chair that we believe was Edward's mother, so I'm wondering if that was Lizzie?

It was great to see all of the photos! I recently acquired a friendship quilt at an estate sale and it has hundreds of names on it. By researching Cora Billig I found this website. What wonderful family treasures.
I have been working on my Fenstermacher ancestry now for 34 years. I know we all trace back to the same father and 3 sons that came here from Germany/ Alsace-Lorraine.

Dont know Cora, but I'm a Fenstermacher descendant working on the Fenstermacher family tree and my branch is of the Fenstermachers is from PA. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY though now am in Philadelphia. Would love to get to know more about your branch of the Fenstermacher family tree and see where it connects at.
