Centennial Park was the site of the 1897 Centennial Exposition in Nashville, unique because it was both a critical and financial success. The "hit" of the exposition was a full scale replica of the famed Parthenon. This was later recreated as a permanent structure and opened to the public in 1931. It has since undergone a major facelift. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
