在上世紀的一九七三年,一對法國新婚夫婦旅行至此,
新娘失足從高處跌下身亡,突然的變故,使年輕的丈夫悲痛不已。
丈夫為了緬懷妻子,也為了往後的各國遊客不再遭遇同樣的悲劇,
捐款在石梯邊修建一條小扶手。
