The Queensland Branch held its 2011 mid-year function at the South Bank River Room alongside the Brisbane River. The event was organised by our Associate Members through the expertise of Astec Australia's Kasey Clarke. The evening was themed as "Hollywood Scandal - Murder Mystery" which meant finding the answer to the question "Who dunnit". Through entertaining events for each of the tables we succeeded in collecting clues which helped (some of the tables) identify the murderer.

Thanks to all who took part in the evening, thanks too for that special effort in dressing up as Hollywood's stars and characters! The support from the sponsors for the night Base Course Management, Astec Australia and Shell Bitumen is acknowledged, and a really special thanks goes to Kasey who once again managed a truly entertaining evening.
